Do you have pulmonary problems? Please stay inside!

The Public Health Department advises all persons with pulmonary diseases to stay home. This is due to the effects of the volcano activity in St. Vincent. In addition, a component of Sahara dust is in the air.

The Queen Beatrix Medical Center (QBMC) noticed an increase in patients with breathing problems and is alert. Persons may also experience irritation of the eyes.

This situation may last until tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14th 2021. On this day the lower winds are expected to change direction.
