In addition, businesses are required to maintain their current COVID-19 protocol for their establishment.
Entry requirements
Whether a person is vaccinated or not, quarantine is not required anymore when entering Statia. A mandatory PCR test (48 hours prior to departure from your destination) or an Antigen test (24 hours prior to departure from your destination) is required, except when a person also had a booster. This means that fully vaccinated individuals that also had the booster, do not need to conduct a PCR test prior to entering . However, everyone needs to do a mandatory Antigen test on the 5th day after their arrival in Statia.
More information on the requirements to enter the island can be found on the attached flyer.
The burden on the economy and the local health care system is the main reason that the local government further downscales the COVID-19 measures, while remaining cautious and taking steps to protect the island.
