Island Governor of Sint Eustatius

Appointment and Term
The Island Governor is appointed by the Crown on the recommendation of the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The term of office is six years, providing leadership stability while supporting long-term governance initiatives.
Current Island Governor
Alida Francis
Alida Francis is the first female Island Governor of Sint Eustatius. Before her appointment, she served as Government Commissioner, a role in which she played a crucial part in local governance and administrative affairs.
